II. The Present Tense

A.Simple Present Tense  :

          1.       Ann takes a shower every morning.

          2.       I usually read the newspaper in the morning.

          3.       I take the motorcycle to the campus.

          4.       The train to bekasi leaves every hour.

          5.       Budi sleeps seven hours every night.

          6.       Doni gets up early at 5 o’clock everyday.

          7.       Devi takes a bath twice a day.

          8.       Every years at lebaran day, most of people travel.

          9.       She doesn’t read harry potter book everyday.

          10.     They don’t watch new movies every Sunday.

B.  Present Continous Tense :

           1.      Please don’t make so much noise. I’m studying. 

           2.      Let’s go out now. It is’n traning.

           3.      Hello, are you enjoying the party!

           4.      Budi is studying English at a language campus.

           5.      Have you head about kia? He is building his own house

           6.      The population of the world is rising very fast.

           7.      Your English getting better?

           8.      I’m meeting my mother at the airport tomorrow.

           9.      My mother’s going to airport.

           10.    Are you doing anything on Sunday morning!

C.  Present Perfect Tense :

1.       I have just written two important letters.

2.      Somebody has stolen my bike.

3.      I have know kia since I was a kid.

4.      I have just cut my left hand pointing finger.

5.      I have been to bekasi five times.

6.      I’m good. I have already had breakfast.

7.      Where is the letter! Well, I have posted it.

8.      I have always belived that the earth is round.

9.      Budi has visited the café twice, and now she recommends it to you.

10.    She has seen her doctor twice, but her cought persists.

D.  Present Perfect Continous Tense :

1.       Budi have been running the paper cup business for years.

2.      Doni and her family have been residing in bali for two years.

3.      Kia has been working as blade smith for over ten years.

4.      I have been reading and brown’s origin for two weeks now.

5.      We have been walking for hours. Let’s stop and get some rest.

6.      The search and rescue team have been searching the forest.

7.      The police have been investigating the train attacks that accured last week.

8.      Dani have been living at the farm with her grandmother for a year.

9.      Dodi has been talking with mother on the phone for two hours.

10.    The pop start has been writing her auto biography since 2000.
